Travis AFB has 22 dormitories with a total of 1627 rooms. All are single occupancy and dormitory residents are assigned rooms under the Air Force guideline of Unit/Group Integrity. The dormitories at Travis AFB range from facilities renovated in 1989 to newly built facilities completed in 1999. All dormitories have fully furnished occupant rooms. The two types of dormitories are as follows:

Photos	1+1 Dormitory - 118 sq. ft. net living area, private room, bathroom and kitchen shared with not more than one person.
Photos	2+2 Dormitory - 178 sq. ft. net living area, private room, bathroom, shared with not more than one person.
Photos	Each Dormitory has a customized common area design based on the preference of the dormitory residents.  These common areas range from a full sized kitchen, Surround Sound TV Lounge, Exercise Rooms, Game Rooms, Computer Rooms and Laundry Rooms.
